To Whom It May Concern:
1999 proved to be a year of many trials tribulations and transitions. One of the positive transitions we made was to upgrade our POS system to POS 2000.
We have been a Platinum user since 1992 and for the last 8 years
we had been using a third party POS system. When it came time to
move from DOS to Platinum for Windows we began to assess the conversion
offered from our previous PO Supplier. After many months of emails
and frustration we finally, at the eleventh hour decided to switch
to POS 2000. Since we are an independent electronics store the majority
of our annual sales are made from the month of November to January.
So here we were, in October requesting an immediate install without
even allowing Mik & Associates an opportunity to check out our
environment.
They stepped in and thanks to a marvelous team effort from everyone (Sales, Sandy, Support...) we were up and running and handled an extremely busy season
with only a few hiccups. What could have very easily been a disaster, actually turned in to a successful installation.
Our relationship with Mik & Associates is a very pleasant one
because of their genuine concern, knowledge, and professional attitude.
Their main concern - at all levels - is that we have a system that
fits our needs. The system has been running extremely well and the
interface to Platinum has been solid. One of our concerns has been
serial number tracking and they have handled this accurately.
We are extremely happy with our partnership with Mik & Associates and I would be remiss in not thanking "Buzz" for his emails, cheery voice and most importantly
his genuine concern.
